RMPTC, Udumalpet scores “A” grade among 104 participant colleges at TBT program by IIT Bombay.
E-Yantra - a program sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development under the National Mission on Education through Information & Communication Technology is an initiative by IIT Bombay to incorporate Robotics into engineering education with the objective of engaging students and teachers through exciting hands-on application of math, computer science, and engineering principles to help provide practical solutions to some of the real world problems.
E-Yantra Lab Setup Initiative (eLSI) is a college level program under which colleges are encouraged to setup robotics labs.
Out of all teams from 104 colleges participated in e-yantra elsi TBT program, a team of 4 staff of Rudhraveni Muthuswamy Polytechnic College Mr.S.Ramaraj of Electronics Department, Mr.S.Magudeeswaran of Mechanical Department, Mr.V.Prabakaran of Electrical Department and Mr.S.Karthikeyan of Computer Department participated and secured “A” grade. RMPTC team stood as the only polytechnic institute team among 104 participant colleges conferred by IIT, Mumbai on july 2018.
The Management, Staff and Students of Rudhraveni Muthuswamy Polytechnic College congratulated the team members for the remarkable acheivement.
A robotic lab is setup with the following equipments procured from E-Yantra, IIT at the cost of Rs.1,99,101/-.
