STEM Club

The objectives of Science Technology Engineering and Maths club are to infuse scientific temperament and sprit of inquiry in the minds of young people. The club foster innovative sprit and encourages the burgeoning of young scientists.

The club has planned to take small projects with a view to promote environmental awareness. Some of them are,
1. Gobar gas through cow dung
2. Organic farming
3. Rain water harvesting

The activities of the club would help in promoting skilled workers in the area of science, technology, engineering and maths. This will also help them in fostering global competencies.

Activities in the month of AUG 2018
The club has proposed to bring out a vermi compost project. The STEM club members under the tutelage of Mr.Gunasekaran from Rajavoor, an expert in the field of agricultural innovation have provided a suitable pit. Making use of the cow dung and the fallen dry leaves, the compost has now been set in process. The students of STEM club have shown an avid interest in processing the project.
